Snemovna changes
Spring greetings! Snemovna brings another significant update, version 0.75, primarily focused on enemy dialogue and other localizations. Additionally, minor adjustments have been made, as described below.
Main Horror
Dialogue for specific characters—organized by category. Currently available for 10 characters
Occasional mix of voice lines to listen to near the assembly hall
Limiting voice lines or enemies based on the floor the player is on. Not working perfectly yet, sorry
New side mode for high fuel prices. So watch out, don’t let them catch you!
Cellars and courtyards better optimized—unnecessary objects removed
- Added new spawn pointspromises, players, and new waypoints for enemies
Clearer jump scare effect—characters will now be more noticeable
Minor Scare Factors
Removed the automatic spawning of enemies after a certain amount of time in Classic Horror mode. Same goes for Heist mode; enemies will now spawn when the first item is thrown into the van.
Enemy size has been slightly reduced; they were becoming too dominant.
The Wine Box and Pistol items could be sold an infinite number of times for profit. How cheeky!
Added a new Dialogue slider to the game settings. In case the voice lines were annoying.
Some sounds have been muted (the Player item, the volume of certain loops).
Side modes fixed. The arrival of 3D characters had completely broken them. They are now fully functional. However, Custom Mode will need some work. Better not try it:D
In the case of the last life, a jumpscare didn’t trigger; instead, instant death occurred. Fixed.
The Holy Trinity has lived up to its successful duo—first the 3D characters and their animations, and now the voice lines. Next week, I’ll focus on the necessary minor fixes. And then I’ll move on to the final stretch of version 0.8—which will focus on the environment. That might take a little longer, so I expect to finish by mid-April.
Once again, a huge thank you for all your support, the joy of playing, and the scares from our dear familiar faces. Eek!
