changedHey everyone, I hope you had a great week! There will be different crafting phases in the game, going from basic survival upgrades like a campfire and a bed to high-tech upgrades as you progress in the game. It was important to me that players start by simply needing to survive, but quickly find their footing and progress through what I think will be a very cool tech tree.

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great week!

Since the last weekly update, I've been focusing on adding tons of shelter upgrades, and I really like how it turned out.

There will be different crafting phases in the game, going from basic survival upgrades like a campfire and a bed to high-tech upgrades as you progress in the game. It was important to me that players start by simply needing to survive, but quickly find their footing and progress through what I think will be a very cool tech tree.

Here are a few screenshots of some early in-game upgrades, but I won't show too much to avoid spoilers :)

Also, here are this week's demo fixes and upgrades (v0.8.4):

-Improved the campfire icon

-Improved the basic bed icon

-Added crafting sections in the build menu as a teaser for the upcoming tech tree progression

-Added more stones in the shallow waters, as some people (legitimately) struggled to find enough for the early shelter upgrades

-Improved sandlurker behavior when the player is close to the maximum attack range

-Made the era change popup stay longer on screen

-Limited the sideways rotation angle of newly placed buildings

-Added a "Water" section in the options menu where you will be able to tweak underwater and surface water visuals (like caustics, scattering, refraction, wave resolution, etc.)

That's it for this week's update! Thanks again for your support! :)
