changedHey everyone, I hope you had a great week! The cryopod: You start the game after waking up from cryosleep. You were asleep for 11,379 years. Did you crash on this planet, or have you been there all along? Who were you 11,379 years ago?
changedHey everyone, I hope you had a great week! These are just a few of the mysteries and questions that you encounter within the first 15 minutes of gameplay. I want the game to feel epic, mysterious, and rewarding over time. I hope you'll enjoy this narrative style, and I will do my very best to make sure you get answers in-game to most, if not all, of the questions you may have :)
changedHey everyone, I hope you had a great week! One of the things I am happiest about in the current stage of development is the story. What you see in the demo is only a glimpse of what the game will ultimately be. I really can't wait to show you more.

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great week!

For this week's update, I thought I could share a bit about some of the mysteries of the game.

This is a spoiler-free post, only talking about things you start learning about in the demo:

  • The cryopod: You start the game after waking up from cryosleep. You were asleep for 11,379 years. Did you crash on this planet, or have you been there all along? Who were you 11,379 years ago?

  • The future era: There is a strange box on the island that transports you 52,821 years into the future. Why that specific date? Why is there such a device on the island?

  • The wristband attached to your arm: When you wake up at the start of the game, there is a wristband attached to your arm. It allows you to scan nearby objects, but why is it attached to you?

  • The robotic signal: You intercept a robotic signal toward the end of the demo. Is it emitted by another stranded survivor, a robotic device, or even simulated by some of the planet's flora?

-And let's not talk yet about the giant tentacles coming out of the sea, the mysterious sentinels observing you, and the locked box requiring Engineering skills haha

One of the things I am happiest about in the current stage of development is the story. What you see in the demo is only a glimpse of what the game will ultimately be. I really can't wait to show you more.

I still plan to release the game in Early Access this summer. I can't say exactly when yet, but I am working hard toward that goal.

Thanks so much for your support! :)
