Weekly Changelog: v0.119

Great progress has been made this week towards the Early Access launch!

Also, I plan to announce the Early Access launch date in the next weekly update. We’re getting there :)

Here are a few screenshots of the biomes that I am currently working on:

A single continuous world:

-I also worked a lot this week to make sure the whole game world is 100% continuous, without loading, fadeouts or zonelines. In the Early Access development build, everything now loads very well in the background, without lag, even on my 5+ year old laptop.

Also, here are this week’s demo upgrades:

-Improved what can be seen from the nearby biomes underwater in the distance

-Lowered the campfire audio effect volume

-Improved the sound effect when discarding items

-Made underwater brightness changes more fluid and happen over time

-Reduced spiky plants visual emission strength (visible in the distance near the demo walls)

-Removed a seaweed model that I was not able to bring up to the quality of the other game objects

-Removed 10 areas where water planes were used underwater in further biomes to improve FPS

-Reduced the 3D size of the gatherable stones

-Adjusted how the HP value shows up in the stats menu to be at the correct location on all screen resolutions

-Bug fix: Fixed some rare instances where at very low HP it could show up as 0 HP in the menu instead of 1 HP

Thanks again for your support!
