Repeated intro

Hey everyone, I hope you're doing well!

  • Balance
  • UI and audio
  • Gameplay
changedFor those of you who haven't had the chance to check out the festival yet, it's worth a look, as it features tons of great released and upcoming ocean-related games. Sinking Eternity joined the festival with its free demo, but I can't wait to be able to show more content. We're getting there!
addedAfter launch, the game will remain in Early Access for a while, during which I will add free content and keep building the game based on your feedback. I also plan to run polls to learn more about what you would like to see in the game. I also plan to add localization during that period. I plan to keep working on the game 7 days a week like I currently do haha.
addedAfter thinking about it, I won't upload a new demo build this week (even if I already had some upgrades ready), as the Steam Ocean Fest is currently running and I don't want to risk introducing an unexpected bug. That would be bad haha. The updated version will drop next week :)

It's been a great week here, and the development progressed a lot :)

As our first point this week, I'm very happy to confirm that Sinking Eternity is part of the Steam Ocean Fest.

It runs from May 18 to May 25.

For those of you who haven't had the chance to check out the festival yet, it's worth a look, as it features tons of great released and upcoming ocean-related games. Sinking Eternity joined the festival with its free demo, but I can't wait to be able to show more content. We're getting there!

Also, the game just reached 9,000 wishlists (with players from 118 different countries!). Thanks so much to every single one of you, it really means a lot. That's around 8,995 more wishlists than I thought the game would get when I started working on it haha.

For this week's update, I thought I could talk a bit about the future of the game:

-The Early Access version will be released this summer for sure (I'll confirm the exact launch date as soon as possible). You will be able to reach at least one of the game's endings at launch, and explore extreme underwater depths, complete dozens of quests, craft a lot of equipment, build your shelter, etc.

-After launch, the game will remain in Early Access for a while, during which I will add free content and keep building the game based on your feedback. I also plan to run polls to learn more about what you would like to see in the game. I also plan to add localization during that period. I plan to keep working on the game 7 days a week like I currently do haha.

Also, here are this week's screenshot, from a vertical area on the edge of the world called the Great Cliff,

After thinking about it, I won't upload a new demo build this week (even if I already had some upgrades ready), as the Steam Ocean Fest is currently running and I don't want to risk introducing an unexpected bug. That would be bad haha. The updated version will drop next week :)

That's it for this week's changelog, thanks again so much to all of you!
