Silent Shark changes
I've frozen additional feature development until after release (see my roadmap post for info on what to expect) and am only adding tweaks and bug fixes at this point...
But first of all:
12,500 Wishlists!!!
Silent Shark has passed 12,500 Steam wishlists and is getting hundreds more each day! I'm so thrilled to see all the positive feedback and excitement out there...you guys totally rock.
Tutorial improvements
I've made a few tweaks and improvements to the tutorial to improve the onboarding so you can become an expert sub captain in no time...
moved the tutorial step panel over to the left side by default which leaves more room for the various instruments like the TDC.
disabled the 1000x Time Compression in Basic Tutorial that was causing some trip-ups
clarified some of the steps' texts
New and improved Tactical Tips
I've added lots of tips like this one throughout the game to help players get a feel for how best to proceed and how not to get sunk...too quickly at least.
32 Steam Achievements!
I've added 32 different achievements for you to collect in the game and have been playtesting them myself.
Improved Campaign Sub Progression
As you progress in the campaign you'll be gaining access to newer submarines. I noticed some of the upgrades were not really meaningful enough, so I've tweaked the progression to give more benefits to higher subs, for example upgrading from the Salmon to the Sargo will now give you longer-lasting batteries for longer dives (which was the way it was historically anyways).
Various Bug Fixes
The bugs being reported are getting fewer and also less weighty, which is a good sign!
Can't wait to get this game out to you on
