Shorekeeper changes
This update focuses on improving the overall game feel and building a more immersive, seamless experience. Before diving into the patch notes, I have an important announcement regarding existing save data.
Important Notice: Save File Wipe Because this update fundamentally overhauls the core progression flow and backend data systems, previous save files will be wiped. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, but this reset is strictly necessary to ensure the new mechanics function flawlessly. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Here are the patch notes for version 0.6.0:
New Features & Content
Completely overhauled the core quest system to provide much smoother pacing and progression throughout your survival journey.
Introduced a new Journal system, allowing you to easily track your active quests and read past entries.
Introduced a new contextual Tutorial system that dynamically appears when you interact with the world.
Added a new "Outbound Trade" side quest, allowing you to build a Shipping Container by the shore to sell extra resources.
Added Pumpkin Soup and several cooked fish recipes to the cooking station (campfire).
You can now cycle through available recipes in cooking place.
Gameplay & Balance
Reduced the base number of slots in the player inventory and hotbar to make crafting storage containers more meaningful.
Significantly increased the despawn timer for dropped resources and items so you won't lose your hard-earned materials.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the watering quest did not correctly count crops that had already been watered.
Fixed a bug that prevented custom keybindings from saving correctly.
Fixed an issue causing certain UI pages to close immediately upon being opened.
Corrected the mouse scroll wheel direction for hotbar navigation.
Fixed a synchronization issue where the active game language did not match the language displayed in the settings menu.
UI/UX & Audio Improvements
Completely redesigned the quest panel with smooth slide transitions.
Updated the Game UI layout to provide a wider and cleaner view of the game world.
Implemented a fresh, more readable font across all menus and interfaces.
Renewed quest and building sound effects.
