I'm here for a quick demo update! Based on your valuable feedback, I’ve released a new update focusing on quality of life improvements and bug fixes. Here is what changed:
Shorekeeper Demo v0.2.0 Changelog:
Improvements:
Complete overhaul of controller support! Navigating menus and playing with a gamepad should feel much smoother and more intuitive now.
You no longer need to perfectly match the recipe in the crafting grid. Extra items in the grid won't block you from crafting anymore!
Crops now grow based on in-game time instead of real-time. Sleeping will advance their growth progress.
Adjusted the fishing mechanics difficulty for a more balanced experience.
Fixes:
Fixed the issue where time would get stuck at 7 PM on the first day.
Fixed the bug where dropping certain items (like axes) would turn them into scissors or other items.
Added missing visuals for several items.
Fixed input prompts stacking on the bottom-right corner.
Fixed an issue where farmlands and planted crops were not saving their data correctly.
Fixed missing characters in text for players using specific system languages.
Audio:
Added harvest sound effect.
Added a sound effect when tilling the ground.
Visuals & VFX:
Revised the Date & Time display (Top-Left).
Revamped the Mission Reward pop-up.
Added a shiny new pop-up for caught fish.
Changed the placeholder Bed model in the Tent.
Added visible seed visuals to crops so you can see what's planted.
Added a growth timer tooltip when looking at crops.
Misc:
Cleaned up unused input bindings in the Settings menu.
