Huge SHED playtest turnout! Here’s what’s new

A huge thank you to the 140+ people who have signed up to the SHED playtest. The playtest will be running until Wednesday 11 February so there’s still plenty of time to check it out if you want to.

addedA fresh round of fixes has been pushed live alongside the SHED playtest. This update focuses on stability, profile handling, new audio feedback, and the first version of our in‑game Message of the Day system.
fixedFixed a rare startup crash caused by Lua’s upvalue limit being exceeded.
addedProfile switching has been fully repaired. Names and avatars now update instantly across all modes, Boss Bowl correctly shows your profile name, and new profiles no longer send you back to the creation screen on restart.
addedBehind the scenes, audio hooks have been added to engine events so bots, burns, and end‑of‑round states all trigger the correct sounds: Win / Lose (You Are SHED) stingers Burn effects Player‑out notifications Card select + card play sounds Turn‑idle reminder Click sounds added to Boss Bowl and Multiplayer menus (These should make matches feel more responsive and readable).
