First off, a huge thank you to the 232 people who signed up for the playtest, it was significantly higher than expected. The playtest is officially being turned off, but fear not, the demo is going live!

What does this mean for playtesters?

  • Your access to the full playtest build is ending as we transition to the demo.

  • Your save will carry over to the demo, and the full game on release. Items/avatars you unlocked during the playtest will be available when the full game releases. (A small selection will remain unlocked in the demo)

What does the demo include? (This is the demo, not the full game)

Single player game modes:

  • Quick game against bots (up to 6 bots and 4 decks)

  • Tier 1 of the boss bowl game mode (First 4 bosses)

  • Tier 1 of the trials game mode (First 4 trials)

  • Single player tournaments

Multiplayer game modes:

  • Standard multiplayer game modes will be available in the demo (up to 8 players and 4 decks per lobby).

Unlocks/rewards/achievements:

  • 9 Steam/in-game achievements

  • 21 common shop items

  • 4 common decks

  • 12 avatars

  • In-game currency rewards for playing games both on and offline (No in-game purchases, all credit in-game is earned in-game).

Technical bits:

  • Steam cloud saves are enabled in the demo

  • Leaderboards for you and your Steam friends are enabled in the demo

  • In-game stat tracking (Including multiplayer wins/losses)

  • Everything earned in the demo will carry over when the full game releases

  • Multiple profiles (So you don’t have to share your main save with a sibling)

  • 13 languages available in the demo (We’ll look to expand this in the near future)

    • English

    • French

    • German

    • Italian

    • Polish Portuguese (Brazil)

    • Portuguese (Portugal)

    • Russian

    • Simplified Chinese

    • Spanish

    • Turkish

    • Ukrainian

    • Welsh

First time looking at SHED?

SHED is a competitive card-shedding game where your goal is simple: get rid of everything before your opponents do.

  • Play fully offline in single player

  • Or in multiplayer mode with your friends or the public

The core loop

  • Play cards and shed your hand

  • Make your opponents pick up the pile

  • Use magic cards to flip the round

  • Win rounds, earn rewards, unlock stuff

That’s it, simple, lightweight, and should run on most computers. (Demo size 183mb, on release full game will be around 200-210mb)

Privacy Policy

We like to keep things simple. SHED is an indie project and we only collect the minimum information needed to run our website and understand how people use it.

The SHED game itself contains no trackers, no analytics, and no personal data collection of any kind. The only thing we track is basic gameplay stats, cards played, cards burned, bosses beaten, etc., and these are only pooled anonymously into global totals. Nothing is tied to you, your account, or your device.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

AI has been used to assist in localising the game.

There are no AI generated assets in SHED, all artwork: Cards, shop items, avatars and all music: All 21 lofi tracks, and 21 SFX have been created by hand, by an actual human.
