It's been a few months since the last major update that introduced Horus, and we've been working hard to improve the game with your feedback since then!
This update is launching alongside the Steam Next Fest as a public demo! Thank you for participating in the past playtests and for giving your feedback. We're infinitely grateful for it! Your saves will carry over from the playtest to the demo, but the leaderboard has been reset.
Until now, the playtests we released included all of our work. That will no longer be the case, as we want the demo to provide the most accurate preview possible while preserving as much content as we can for the full version of the game. As a result, you’ll soon see posts about:

Now let's dive into the changes for this update! A lot of these changes were made due to your feedback! Thank you for helping us in making SETH a better game!
Gameplay
Added a new enemy: The Knife-Wielding Demons! These terrifying creatures will roam arenas before launching towards you with a devastating dash attack!
The Bow of Neith is finally complete! You will be able to try this weapon in all its newfound glory in the hub from now on.
The boss now concludes the demo and is accompanied by additional enemies.
Base melee damage has been reduced to keep full melee builds balanced with other playstyles.
Finisher damage has been increased to prevent edge cases where certain power interactions prevented your finisher from killing an enemy.
Tweaked the Herald of Apophis' attack pattern to make it stop turning during his attack.
Rebalanced the overall difficulty curve of a run to make it more challenging, with smoother progression and fewer sudden difficulty spikes.
Players can now jump during a dash!
Streamlined the tutorial for a faster and clearer introduction to the game mechanics for new players.

The Pillar of Ptah has been temporarily disabled while we work on a more robust, less work-in-progress version. It will return in the full release.
Art & Visuals
Added an “Equipped Powers” menu to see what you’ve earned during your run.
The Herald of Apophis now has improved visuals on its puke attack! Gross.
Enemy visuals have been refined.
Updated the power selection UI to better reflect which god is granting you powers.
The Merchant Door now has its own icon! Goodbye placeholder...!
Audio & Music
Added voice acting to the introduction, tutorial, and all God dialogues! A huge congratulations to the voice actors who took part in the project!
