Thoughts about launching a demo

First of all: Thank you to all of you out there who looked into the demo... I was really stunned. Thank you for the reactions, good or bad, for the advice, for the ideas, for the bug searching with me... For noticing...

changedI asked myself if it was right to push the demo out there. The game is in an early stage, the demo is not perfect (and may never be), it all needs a ton of work to do before i will call it a real game. I'm not really sure, I wanted to have it out there and so there it is.
changedTimeFlow -> As some players remarked, it is not good that there is no stopping the timeflow when you look into the inventory or talk to an NPC. So Timeflow will stop when you interact with an NPC or open the bigger UI stuff like the inventory, incubation stone or storage. - WorldMap -> there will be a worldmap with an indicator for where the player is for better orientation.
changedStorage -> some of the chests and other storage areas will be linked to the player, you will be able to place your own chests later. When opening a chest that is part of your private storage you will be able to go through all your storage parts and not only the one you have currently opened (I hate it myself when I have to search for this one chest I put a resource into that I suddenly need) - Friendship-System -> you will be able to increase your friendship with the inhabitants of the island through tasks/quests you can do for them, getting shop product expansions and other forms from help from them in return. - Monster Helper -> The monsters will be able to help you with your daily work like watering plants, gathering resources and maybe even more. - Combat -> Yes, there will be combat later on, with your companion monster helping you out. - Adventures -> One part of the game will be exploring some parts of the island that may be similar to a magic dungeon, rearranging itself every now and then. - Coop -> I want to have a coop option for the adventures, but that is one of the things that will be taken care off after most of the other stuff - Storyline -> There will be a storyline for you to explore when the game is getting out. A real one!

I asked myself if it was right to push the demo out there. The game is in an early stage, the demo is not perfect (and may never be), it all needs a ton of work to do before i will call it a real game. I'm not really sure, I wanted to have it out there and so there it is.

To tell you something about myself: I'm a single, part-time game dev working in webdevelopment for my main job (and I need that for the money). I always wanted to create a game myself with creatures and monster collecting and some other stuff and this is it.

And so I'm doing this monstly for myself, following a dream I've had about giving life to a combination of game mechanics I was never able to find in other games, but always wanted to play and enjoy. I want to share that game I dreamed of making with anyone who might have had that same experience, searching for that one game that had everything they wanted in it. I will work on it constantly and would love your input and ideas and will try to integrate them into the game.

And what is to come? As I said, I'm working constantly at it... But part-time. I cannot afford to do it full-time for the time being, that is a fact. This will extend the timeline for getting all the stuff done that I want to be in the game.
