Hi everyone!
Santosai here! This update focuses on polish, balance improvements, bug fixes, and making every run feel more dynamic and rewarding. As a solo developer, I’m incredibly grateful for every bit of feedback, this update is the first step in making ZK1L4 even better for you.
Highlights of v1.1
✨ New Improvements
More dynamic skill selection screen (visual effects + feedback). Better readability in UI and improved clarity in stats.
Added Version label in main menu. Changed global points used for Upgrades/Shopping from Currency to Evolution Points ⬢
Added 5 new guns Added a new Z: Gold Z which has tons of HP but upon defeat gives great rewards
Added a new starting gun: Uzi
⚖️ Balance Adjustments
Decreased general Z damage in early game
Gold rewards are now more consistent and fair.
Passive skills rebalanced to create more exciting synergies.
Early-game and mid-game pacing improved.
🎨 Visual Upgrades
Better glow effects on buttons.
Enhanced GPU particles for interactions when acquiring a new upgrade.
Smoother transitions during level-up and upgrades.
Improved loading screen graphics.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Fixed audio issues where some sounds wouldn’t play on level-up.
Fixed inconsistencies in skill cost calculations.
Improved an issue in which currency could be negative.
Improved menu navigation at Main Menu
