RnGesus Slayer changes
The old design looks alright. I just slowly build it up from the scratch, drawing various inspiration from slot-machine game, as well as many popular deck-builder games.
This looks fine on its own, however, there are few problem with this.
Size of the buttons are just too big, which I heard many people say that it has this mobile vibe.
While the slot-machine is right in the middle, which is quite standard for slot-game, I don't think it's really helpful in this game, since the slot, while important, only is a part of the game. Most important is how you use your cards and utilize your shops, and how to save your cards.
Because the shop is its own separate tabs from the slot-machine, it's quite unclear for first time-player how the shop is related to the reel, as well as which shop position goes to which reel.
This re-design attempted to fix this problem, first by created a grouping between the player's team, and the enemies. Also, by moving the reel to the left and merge it with the shop, it makes the shop intention quite clear (I think) and also leave a lot more space for the beautiful landscape and the battle.
