Rise of the Settlement changes
Greetings, Settlers 🏛️
This update arrives a little earlier than planned and focuses mainly on essential bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements aimed at making the overall experience smoother and more enjoyable.
Version 0.0.7 will also be the last planned release of this year, as the end-of-year and winter holidays are approaching. The journey, however, does not end here—development will continue at the beginning of next year with a fresh mind, renewed energy, and many ideas waiting to take shape.

🛠️ Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue that caused workers to rest only when assigned to a workplace
Fixed an issue where auto-activated boosts were not saved or loaded correctly
Fixed an issue that caused expedition quests not to load properly from a save game
Fixed an issue that displayed incorrect perk synergies when two perks were already assigned
Fixed an issue where the children list expanded outside the screen when three or more children were present on Family view
Fixed an issue that caused people assigned to expedition quests to remain idle
Fixed an issue that caused some quests to load from savegame with a negative timer
Fixed an issue where required technology for recipes was shown as an internal name
Fixed an issue where the partner’s stats of the main character could not be displayed
Fixed an issue that caused quests to reset for the current month under certain load conditions
✨ Improvements & Enhancements
Improved game performance to prevent short freezes when feeding animals
Updated work unit contribution display when assigning workers to a new workplace
Missing resources now clearly indicate why a building upgrade cannot start
Resized the notification bar to display full messages
Added community buttons to the main menu (Discord & Dev Letter)
Display active perks details on mouse-over person card in the population list
Improved visibility of perks that can form synergies once at least one perk is selected
Made the technology tree scalable using Ctrl + Mouse Scroll
Made the Cancel Quest option more visible and intuitive
Clicking an active quest slot now opens the quest details
Added chronicle log entries when people are automatically assigned to workplaces
Added chronicle log entries when auto-renew boosts fail due to missing resources
Boosted Woodcutter’s Lodge branch production to exceed that of the Forager Hut
Added new production quests for Firewood, Dried Fish and Meat
Added production boosts for Press House and Brew Tub
Added clearer loading messages to show what is happening during savegame loading
Adjusted dried fur and leather production to better balance the production chain
Re-adjusted ALL building upgrade costs for improved balance across the game
