Hi folks, decided to push this early as it addresses an issue that a fair few of you have reported today. Thank you very much for your help tracking this one down.
After your first visit to an island, you'll now be hit with a check for how much cargo / crew you have on board. If you have any fully laden / over loaded ships, you'll need to redistribute your resources.
Overloaded ships will perform badly in combat and your fleet will have an overall lower speed. Let me know what you think.
New
Ships can now be overloaded (2x their maximum).
Updated Cargo/Crew bar to include indications of over-loading.
Fleets will now suffer from overweight cargo / crew loads and their speeds in campaign AND battle map will be effected.
Fixes
Explorer class buff to speed has been fixed.
Fixed a major bug that would manifest if you were being pursued by enemy fleet and entered an island with a mission to complete.
Changes
All turn speeds of heavy / large ships updated.
Removed Land Cannons from "Skeleton crews"
Ships can now be overloaded to 2x their total capacity, but receiving movement debuffs.
