addedTwo major new mechanics added to Single PlayerWith this setting enabled, on game start, you only have a small area of visibility around your starting colony - Upgrade your radar to increase it's visibility radius - New outposts and colonies grant a visibility radius - You can station ships in the fog of war to gain visibility (this is a new 'send fleet' action from the star map) - Your radar will show you any stationed ships in your visibility zone - Fleet movements will only show up if they are inside your visibility zone, otherwise you will not be aware of them - Stationed ships can be attacked - If you attempt to station a ship on an enemy colony or outpost in the fog of war the mission will resolve as an attack - This also allows you to station defensive fleets on high profile locations to deter colonizers, so they will need to clear the area before colonising the tile
