Reloadian Demo Update – Controls & Combat Improvements
We've released a new demo update focused on controller usability, combat responsiveness, and weapon balance. Thanks to everyone who played the demo and shared feedback!
🎮 Controller Improvements
D-Pad Movement Support Added
You can now use the D-Pad for character movement, giving players more flexibility with controller input.
Because of this change, some controller inputs have been updated:
Melee Weapon Swap → [c]RB + X[/c]
Ranged Weapon Swap → [c]RB + Y[/c]
Inventory → [c]RB + A[/c]
⚔️ Combat Improvements
Earlier Defensive Cancels
You can now activate Dash and Shield slightly earlier during attack animations, allowing quicker defensive reactions and smoother combat flow.
Attack Input Fix
Fixed an issue where attacks could occasionally fail to trigger during the final frame of an attack animation.
🧗 Movement Improvements
Wall Jump Adjustment
Wall jumps are now faster and stronger, improving responsiveness and making traversal feel more dynamic.
🗡 Weapon Balance
Weapon Range Adjustments
Weapon attack ranges have been refined so the difference between weapons—from daggers to spears —is more noticeable and distinct.
