v1.2.2
This is a moderately sized stability update that fixes many of the new problems and bugs that have cropped up since 1.2.0. The last two updates were a lot buggier than I thought... I had to rewrite the way player death works in order to get multiplayer functioning correctly, and unfortunately that introduced a lot of new bugs that I didn't catch beforehand related to player death, among other bugs and crashes that I just didn't foresee. So, my apologies for the unstable last few patches! This update will hopefully address most of the issues, I played through the game twice to make sure and it seems to work fine for me, but nevertheless if anyone finds more serious bugs feel free to reach out and I'll fix them as quickly as I can. Anyway, full patch notes below:
Fix crash when starting a new game (introduced in 1.2.1)
Fix crash if player dies during final boss second phase
Fix soft lock during final scene edge case
Fix crash when NPCs pick up items (introduced in 1.2.1)
Fix crash if player dies while double jumping or using jetpack
Fix crash if player dies while shooting the assault rifle
Fix NPC ground check sometimes not triggering after landing
Improve Ninja AI
Fix enemies with rocket launchers constantly killing themselves if shooting left
Fix grenade launcher ammo pickups giving you more ammo than your max
Improve NPC swimming
Buff pope hat
Minor NPC slope handling improvements
Clean up some old and dirty code
Improve some bullet hitbox detection
Reduce NPC recoil knockback
Fix dog animation, plus dog is much more helpful in combat now
