This is a moderate patch that improves NPC and Enemy AI and pathfinding, fixes some crashes and bugs introduced in the last patch, adds friendly fire toggle, and more. Full patch notes below.
Improve NPC and Enemy AI, pathfinding, and weapon handling
Fix crash when introduced to the antagonist for the first time in the mines (this was a game breaking bug introduced in the last patch, sorry for missing it!!)
Fix crash if player dies while an energy ball is damaging an enemy, introduced in last patch
Fix crash in player dies with an NPC follower, introduced in last patch
Fix looking around with the camera controls, broken in last patch
Improve some boss sprites to make them more consistent
Add a friendly fire option in the gameplay settings for multiplayer
Improve options menu UI for mouse control
Improve buying items from the shop in multiplayer and with KBM controls
Add back in selling items to the merchant and swapping items with NPC followers, removed in recent patch
Add back and change default follow request controls, now it's activated by pressing RT while holding Y by default on Xbox controller, with a new UI prompt
Most NPCs are now able to follow you by default; some are better than others.
All NPCs now start with a weapon when following the player
Fix NPC followers not triggering during multiplayer
All enemies and NPCs now have a death "ragdoll", not just soldiers
Improve intro scene
