Raiders of Blackveil changes
We are happy to announce the release of our Localization Update!
We had 3 goals for this update:
Enable several new languages for Raiders of Blackveil.
Improve performance and stability of the game.
Gameplay tweaks and UI improvements.
⚠️ Note that the localization is a machine translation and will be improved by actual humans once we are certain that everything in the game is written as it is supposed to be.
⚠️Note that even though we made great efforts towards optimizing the game you can still expect bugs, frame drops and synchronization issues.
⚠️ Please make sure to update your game. You can force it by restarting steam.
Here are the patch notes:
Localization:
New languages now supported for text: Hungarian, Danish, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese.
Difficulty:
Normal enemies will now stop scaling (health and damage) at extremely high Alarm Level. Bosses will continue to scale.
Boss/Miniboss health reduced by -17% on Raider & Liberator
Loop now makes enemies more aggressive (more movement speed and less idle time)
Liberator difficulty increased:
Enemy Health: 130->160%
Enemy Damage: 100->120%
Boss Damage: 50->60%
Perks:
Monk:
Shock Palm: 50 -> 40 dmg
Smite: 50 -> 65 dmg
Lightning Strike: 100 -> 125 dmg
Electric Fumes: 50 -> 75 dmg
Thunderstruck: 50 -> 100 dmg
Chain Lightning: 50 -> 100 dmg
Shockwave: 50 -> 85 dmg
Zen Bonus Upgrade: 75% -> 40% atk speed
Assassin:
Agile: 15% → 10% crit
Precision: 10% → 6% crit
Single Out: 5% → 3% crit
Vulnerable: 20% → 15% crit
Inhale Fumes: 3% → 2% crit
Critical Blessing (Crit Damage): 75% → 50%
Priest:
Bless now only gives 1 stack but the damage is doubled
Warlock:
Fixed several summon minion perks that did not work as intended
Stat Flasks:
Crit Stat Flask: 5% → 3% crit
Souvenirs:
All souvenirs are now worth more scrap.
Pig Stew 500->1250 scrap
Hex Doll 1000->2500 scrap
2nd Place Trophy: 2500->5000 scrap
Champions:
Ironhorn Offense Ability damage increased by +20%.
Champions: Basic Attack level up scaling reduced (Lv2 -5%, Lv3/4 -10%).
Champions: Offense Abilities up scaling increased (Lv3 +10%, Lv4 +20%)
Higher champion levels now require more experience
Enemies/Traps/Bosses:
All Elite and Super Elite variations have +20% health
Cooking Plate Trap has a longer delay before triggering.
Healing enemies will not target each other
Enemies that provide immunity can not target each other
Kitchen Sow Boss flame minion's health now scale with Alarm Level
UI:
New and improved "Perk Wheel UI" including an overview of all Perks
Perk Wheel and Inventory UI icons in main HUD
VFX:
VFX updates for: all enemies, a lot of perks and the status effects, revive, Healing room and general healing visuals.
Performance:
General performance improvements, especially concerning spawning multiple enemies and perk effects
Warlock summoned minions performance improvement
Bugs:
We lost track of them but we fixed a lot
There's probably more that we forgot to note - it's been a while since the last update after all! We will continue to improve the game and we're working hard towards Early Access later this year. Thank you, from the Wombo team!
