Repeated intro
Hey everyone! (。・∀・)ノ゙ Finally, our first steam announcement. Last month, we attended the Gamers 2 Gamers Festival by TheLazyMonday that was held on 22-23 November 2025. We received feedback and support for our game and we're happy to see a lot of you trying out our game (/≧▽≦)/ Other than that, we're happy to announce that we've finally updated our demo! RAD: Repeat After Death changes
That's right, RAD Demo version 1.9.0 is finally out. We also did several small patches to this version so the current playable version is 1.9.6. Here we'll list out all the change logs for each patch we did.
🌟 TLDR
Non-hostile echoes are now shown after clearing the last iteration
Tutorial torture chamber removed
Game Over statistics no longer count revives as iterations
A more POLISHED and BRAND NEW UI for a bunch of things (profile creation, objectives, progress bar)
Added story cutscenes, you can now create game theories with our game
Changed stat scaling from linear to exponential
BRAND NEW TUTORIAL!!
Removed Classic mode removed in favor of Trial mode we use vandal not classic here

Changes
Performance optimized; movement edge cases cleaned.
Updated platform detection; horizontal ledging; climbing corrected.
Fixed early jump frame & wall-collision issues.
Currency now drops on kill; new currency VFX.
Time Stop now affects particles + death effect.
Updated boss teleport logic; improved Guardian Illusion + Seeing Double.
Echoes now show death effect; dissolve now grayscale; removed red outlines.
Added walk/run/jump/land particles and dash VFX.
Updated door spawn visuals; shelter doors updated.
Disabled lobby items; “revive” renamed to “life”
Game over panel delay, new default selection, reduced lockout.
Pause enabled in gacha.
Portal: +0.2s spawn delay, dark by default.
Added UI gem icons; updated tutorials; updated Picky Persona VFX.
Most random procs are now pseudorandom
Purchase cost now shows red or white for each individual currency
Added temporary measure for settings softlock
Add trial door unlock
Added button for corrupt saves (reset game data)
New dungeon walls
Add speedrun timer and option to show steam leaderboards
Add option on settings for speedrun, steam leaderboard, show run id
Rain challenge audio now changes based on roof cover
Item Changes
Spectral Bombs : triggers after all echoes spawn.
Fiery Chicken Feather : restores all missing lives.
Booster Jets : now modifies velocity deltas.
Chained Hourglass : +100% time; affected by modifiers.
Gatekeeper's Might : reduces non-boss iterations; spawns echo wave after 6s.
Fixes
Fixed post-death projectile damage.
Fixed Booster Jets/Hourglass calc; fixed double-item pickup.
Fixed Hard Mode visibility; boss rewards; Tana shop; Ceta shop.
Fixed random water audio; shelter item interaction; spotlights.
Fixed red outline issues; revive UI delay; timer continuing after clear.
Fixed Time Stop SFX; boss animation; glossary hover; multi-window gacha.
Fixed shop not showing rune recharge, rune capacitor

Fixed shop not giving appropriate heirlooms
