Quietus Allurement changes
General Update
Its been a while since we had an update about where the game is at. Well this update is defiantly going to help overall with the game. Are we getting closer to release not really I want the game to be the best it can be with the launch. With this update it defiantly feels more like a finished product.
This update has been in the works for a while and with the changes that I've made Its defiantly a quality of life update. As Recoil is now a whole new system. This system has been rewritten over and over to find the right correct way of doing it. It finally turned into something I really enjoy.
We are still in progress working on making the survival map look more like it should! And making further changes on the playstyle to make it fit the genre of game.
We made Level 1 a little bit more interesting with the lights but we got more work to do yet. It still seems out of place. not fitting the genre.
Patch Notes
General Changes
Updated: Save/Loading code this will break current saves! I’m hoping this will work for the next update later on.
Fixed: Breaking Platforms now save correctly.
Fixed: Saving game No longer brakes audio
Fixed: Loading Game wasn’t setting the audio correctly for voice lines.
Added: Switching weapons now makes a sound.
Weapon Changes
Weapons smoke effect only happens on non silenced weapons
Weapons with silencer have a smaller flare and removal of smoke
Weapon recoil has changed a lot making weapons a lot easier to control.
Electric
BUG: Does Not have a fire rate for auto. Have fun with this while you can. ːsteamhappyː
Story Mode
Added: Torch lights have a smoke trial.
Fixed: Player arms are moving without actually moving Noticeable in Level 1.
Fixed: Player head glowing in Level 1.
Fixed: Player doesn't look like he's in a jump when he should be walking.
Fixed: Player was getting stuck on the elevator not letting them jump and appeared to be floating when on the platform.
Fixed: Elevator Sign clipping through player.
Fixed: Potential Issue with saving and loading. THIS WILL BREAK CURRENT SAVES!
Fixed: Crash issue with flying monsters hitting the moving platform.
Survival Mode
Added: Drops are now affected by gravity
Changed Wall Weapon designs
Updated: Ground Monsters are a little smarter.
Santa’s Workshop
The starting area looks a little bit different. It's still working progress but it's getting there.
