QUEST TOGETHER changes
Multi-quest system
Any number of quests can now be accepted at once and completed at your own pace
Upon clearing a quest's objective, you'll see a notification that you completed the objective. Then hand in your quest at the Quest Girl at a guild tavern to receive your exp and your item rewards.
- Manage your quests in your quest logsee which ones are active, which ones you've canceled, which ones are available, and how many times you've completed a quest.
Quests no longer take place in private instances, instead you can tackle quests in the public instance of the Hills/Tundra
Dosbullton, Wyrval, Goblins, and Wyvern Eggs are now all placed in the public Hills instance
Cute Pet system
Using specific "taming items" you can now capture certain monsters as pets.
While in battle with the monster you want to tame, use the taming item on it to have a chance at a successful capture.
The capture odds can be increased by damaging the monster; the lower its HP, the higher the capture odds.
After a successful capture, you'll obtain an Egg item.
"Equip" the Egg to spawn your pet
Your new friend will now follow you wherever you go!
You can Use the Egg again to despawn your pet, it'll go back into its egg safe and sound.
You can own any number of pet eggs, but you can only spawn one pet at a time.
Changes:
- Redesigned the battle menu for VRthe new menu no longer obscures your view and instead is much more VR-user friendly. The desktop mode battle menu is unchanged.
Bug Nets and Pickaxes are now equipable items that equip to your hip slot. No more taking them out of your pouch every time you want to use them!
Removed the "Item Pouch" and "Carving Knife" as inventory items. No more accidentally unequipping the pouch or the knife, you'll simply have them equipped at all times.
Removed the automatic sending of items to the item box after leaving an instance, since it's no longer necessary since item pouches are now much bigger
Removed the "field item" label from freshly gathered items
Wyvern Eggs can now be stored in the item pouch like any other item
Lunalop drops Fluff instead of Herb now
Removed Target Practice (for now)
