addedGoblinians are a newly introduced race in QUEST TOGETHER . While they may resemble goblins at first glance, they are far more refined, intelligent, and civilized than their wild counterparts, and they would greatly prefer not to be mistaken for them. (it’s a touchy subject for them)
changedThese capable allies will now take the place of your previous NPC party members. Much like real players, Goblinians can gain experience, level up, equip gear, and make use of spells and skills. They grow alongside you, becoming trusted companions in battle and beyond.
changedWhile the changes may not be immediately obvious during moment-to-moment gameplay, they lay the groundwork for much more engaging encounters going forward. NPCs are now better equipped to evaluate the state of battle, making smarter decisions about which targets to prioritize and which actions to take.
addedYour journey will take you southeast of Eltstadt to the bustling port town of Brückel . There, you’ll become acquainted with this new setting as you take on Rank 2 quests at the tropical guild outpost, while uncovering clues about the whereabouts of the next orb artifact.

How do I get one?

Head to the Adventurer’s Guild in Eltstadt and speak with Linda the Recruiter, who can be found behind the bar. She’ll guide you through the process of finding your ideal Goblinian companion.

You’ll be able to choose their name, job, and gender. Once recruited, make sure to buy them some equipment so they’ll be ready to have your back during battle.

AI rework

Alongside the Goblinian update, the game’s NPC AI has received a substantial overhaul.

While the changes may not be immediately obvious during moment-to-moment gameplay, they lay the groundwork for much more engaging encounters going forward. NPCs are now better equipped to evaluate the state of battle, making smarter decisions about which targets to prioritize and which actions to take.

I’ll be continuing to fine-tune and expand these behaviors over the coming days, so if anything feels off or unexpected, your feedback is always welcome!

What’s next?

First up is the free-to-play mode, which is progressing steadily and coming together well. The current plan is to have it out before May 1st. Once that’s ready, the next chapter of the story will follow shortly after.
