Repeated intro

Hello Pool Fans 👋 First of all, thank you all for your support on launch day! Huge thanks to everyone who has jumped in since launch and taken the time to leave feedback. We’ve been listening closely over the last 24 hours - especially to Steam reviews - and we want to be transparent about what we’re already working on.

changedVISUAL FIX: Ball Reflection “Pop” / “Flicker”The Issue: By far the most reported visual issue since launch. The issue is currently most noticeable in Rackhaus and is exacerbated by certain baize colours/designs. Ball reflections refresh at different rates - causing a noticeable “pop” in motion, or when gently circling the cue ball. What We’re Doing: We’ve been working hard on a fix - and believe we’ve found one that should significantly reduce this.
changedUI FIX: AIM GUIDE CLIPPING IN ROYAL RUMBLEThe Issue: Some players are reporting unsightly aim guide clipping issues in Royal Rumble. The aim line is currently blocked by the floating object ball.

changedPlayer Card Stats UI: for competitive online games

Based on the most common feedback from launch day, we’re already preparing a Week 1 Patch (targeting Thursday 19th February) that focuses on the three biggest pain points players have raised.

Week 1 Patch Contents: Arriving Thursday 19.02.2026

CAMERA FIX: Off-centre aiming when cue pitching

The Issue

Many players - especially on Pro difficulty without aim lines - have rightly reported difficulty lining up shots when forced cue elevation occurs (most obvious near rails). We attempted to push realism here, but it’s clear this doesn’t quite translate well to Pro mode as the camera shifts off centre, making things incredibly difficult to gauge.

What We’re Doing

We’re permanently re-centring the camera in all scenarios - even those where the cue is elevated. This should significantly improve the experience for Pro players. We'll continue to review camera options further after this.

VISUAL FIX: Ball Reflection “Pop” / “Flicker”

The Issue

By far the most reported visual issue since launch. The issue is currently most noticeable in Rackhaus and is exacerbated by certain baize colours/designs. Ball reflections refresh at different rates - causing a noticeable “pop” in motion, or when gently circling the cue ball.

What We’re Doing

We’ve been working hard on a fix - and believe we’ve found one that should significantly reduce this.

CONTROL FIX: MOUSE SENSITIVITY

The Issue

Many players are experiencing overly high or “twitchy” mouse sensitivity at certain DPI ranges, making gentle shots difficult even when using power feathering.

What We’re Doing

We’re adjusting sensitivity scaling to improve control and consistency for Mouse & Keyboard users.

UI FIX: AIM GUIDE CLIPPING IN ROYAL RUMBLE

The Issue: Some players are reporting unsightly aim guide clipping issues in Royal Rumble. The aim line is currently blocked by the floating object ball.

What We’re Doing: We’re working on a fix that ensures the aim lines are readable and pass through when they come into contact with the floating ball.

Month 1 Patch Contents: Arriving March 2026

We’ve also mapped out a Month 1 Patch, again driven directly by launch feedback. We’ll share more details as we progress, but planned items we’re working on include:

  • General Bug fixes & QoL improvements

  • Player Card Stats UI: for competitive online games

  • Rule Fix: Potting the 8-ball on the break was considered a foul

  • Steam Deck optimisations: currently functional on Deck but not yet tuned or verified

  • Power Feather tutorial explaineradded to the intro tutorial
  • “Money Shot” improvements: better timing and presentation of dramatic slow-mo finishes

  • Controller vibration & DualSense haptics

  • Further framerate optimisations (PC & console)

  • Checkpoint Challenge Mode adjustments: pacing/forgiveness of those final buzzer-beating seconds

  • Baize decal sub-menu improvements

  • Ball Drop Polish

  • Career Completion Fanfare Implementation

  • Star unlock criteria adjustments: to be made slightly more forgiving/less specific

  • Equipment sub-menu scroll improvements

As always, this list may evolve as fixes land and testing continues.
