I still need to write some enemy behaviour code for a new enemy type, and connect the end of act 1 to the new parts of the game, but, it's getting there.
changedA quick heads up: the first price increase will happen as soon as it is possible to do so (Steam has rules about price increases around sales). The current intention is to increase the price with every major update.

I still need to write some enemy behaviour code for a new enemy type, and connect the end of act 1 to the new parts of the game, but, it's getting there.

A quick heads up: the first price increase will happen as soon as it is possible to do so (Steam has rules about price increases around sales). The current intention is to increase the price with every major update.

This is a smaller, maintenance update to address a couple of issues based on your feedback and bug reports. These are:

Improvements: Map Navigation, Lighting & Particles

  • Set up better lighting profiles, in particular making night scenes brighter. (Thanks, justaguy2)

  • Navigation helpers now have an improved text description.(Thanks, blindseye)

  • Map exits are now shown with navigation helpers. (Thanks, blindseye)

  • Navigation helpers remain visible until the object they are pointing to is on screen. (Thanks, blindseye)

  • Navigation helpers show the distance from the edge of the screen, rather than the centre, to give a better sense of where the indicated object is. (Thanks, blindseye)

  • Icons indicating interactable objects are now visible through roofs. (Thanks, blindseye)

  • Added a number of particle effects to enliven the scenes.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug causing player party HP to be restored on loading. (Thanks, alation13)

  • Fixed a number of grammatical errors and typos. (Thanks, Irelandwalk)

  • Fixed a UI element appearing in error on the user interface. (Thanks, alation13)

  • Fixed an alignment issue with the UI elements which show how allies' skillpoints are allocated.

  • Prevented the outhouse where the boat captain is hiding from the sniper being activated twice.
