Finally... it's finished.
After 5 years in development, I hope it was worth the wait.
As a solo developer, getting this project to the finish line has been an insanely arduous journey. Unfortunately, not everything I had in mind could make it into the game, but I'm very satisfied with the final result.
Since this is my first game, there are bound to be some rough edges. I apologize in advance for any bugs or poor experiences you might encounter. I'll be on standby to fix any issues that pop up as quickly as possible. If you have any ideas or feedback to improve the game, I am completely open to hearing them—even if I can't implement them right now or in this game, I want to carry all of this knowledge over to my next project.
Speaking of the next one... even with the main development reaching its conclusion, I still plan on returning to add more content to PROJECT XZ in the future. As I mentioned, a lot of things ended up being cut during development. Depending on how the game is received, I'm thinking of creating 3 additional chapters, each featuring new levels, mechanics, and an exclusive character with their own upgrades. As of right now, I already have concepts drawn up all the way to Chapter 7, but no solid promises for now... and of course, if it happens, it will be completely free!
