Project Chromata changes
UPDATED QUICKFIX! Feature:
Added 35 Steam Achievements to track progression, grinding, and hidden challenges. The game will check existing saves on load to grant any previously earned achievements.
Enhanced:
(Assault): The selected hex is now highlighted with a bright, pulsing cyan border (matching the main game's UI) and is drawn on top of all other units for clear visibility.
(Steam): The game will now continue to run in the background when minimized or tabbed out, rather than pausing and granting Null Essence.
The 'Active Monument Bonuses' section in the Void Interface is now hidden until Stage 4 is unlocked to reduce UI clutter for players in Stage 3.
(Assault): Stabilizer's 'Nullify' ability now supports manual targeting (similar to Resonator) and will prioritize Stasis Crystals on auto-target.
Added amount of Attunements left in Operations View.
Fixes:
The splash screen would incorrectly appear on every launch for the Steam version. The 'splashSeen' setting is now saved and loaded correctly.
- (Assault)The Purity Field's spread distance was still 2 hexes. It has been corrected to 3 hexes to match the Pylon's increased range from update 1.4.0.1.
Corrected a 'ghost notification' where the Stats/Codex tab would flash yellow indefinitely for some players due to a save file desync. A cleanup script will run on load to fix affected save files.
The 'Welcome Back' modal will now correctly appear even if your Null Essence storage is full, informing you that you missed out on potential gains.
The 'Active Monument Bonuses' section in the Void Interface no longer incorrectly displays bonuses before any monuments are actually built.
The +/- PIP buttons in the Production view no longer scale incorrectly with zoom, ensuring they remain a consistent size relative to the tanks.
(Assault): Stabilizer's 'Nullify' ability will no longer target or display 'Capturing:' on an un-revealed (fog of war) Landmark.
- (Assault)Corrected misleading Conduit description that mentioned upgrades.
- (Assault)Resonator projectiles no longer incorrectly receive reduced damage from 'phantom' Stasis Crystals that have already been destroyed.
- (Assault)Glitch Spawners now correctly destroy player-built structures (like Resonators or Stabilizers) when spawning new Dissonance Fonts on an occupied hex.
(Assault): The Fading Memory Landmark no longer crashes the game when revealed.
Removed a Dissonance Font that spawned next to the Nexus on The Cantor Dust map, preventing instant loss.
