This update focuses on map editor enhancements, quality-of-life improvements, gameplay balancing, performance optimizations, and a wide range of bug fixes throughout the game.
CHANGELOG
Map Editor
Added object preview images for all remaining map editor objects - Area visualizations are now no longer toggled when typing in an input field - Added a new map editor object: prison layout map – creates a dynamic map of the prison displaying nearby areas - Removed unusable generator objects from the map editor object list - Fixed an issue that caused several objects (> 50) to not be properly box-selectable - Fixed weak wall fractured cells falling through the ground in the map editor scene - Doors now do not open while being placed, making it easier to properly position them in door frames
UI
Added a health bar for NPCs to make it easier (especially for new players) to estimate whether a combat encounter is successful or not - Added an indicator to the inventory/crafting UI to display whether an item is tracked and can be automatically located by guards
Performance
- Added LODs forcactus, electrical generator, dead tree, sugar cane, basketball, basketball hoop, table chair unit, weight bench - Reduced RAM usage by optimizing the way models are loaded into a scene
Misc / Balancing
Tutorial progress is now saved and is no longer reset when loading a save game - Doctors now wait until a wanted prisoner has been arrested before healing them - Increased taser item value from 12.5 to 18 - Lockdowns now end automatically after 5 minutes if all wanted prisoners are already in their cells - Guards that are actively searching for a prisoner during lockdowns now always run
Bug Fixes
Fixed several issues that prevented work jobs and quests from being properly initialized (e.g., when loading without the player's previous session that had a prison job) - Fixed an issue that caused certain levels (e.g., Fernweh Facility) to not properly load when setting the "Prisoner NPC Count" to a high value - Fixed an issue that caused doors to not properly react to phase changes after loading, potentially causing the player to become stuck in their cell - Fixed a few other potential issues that could cause doors to not be properly synchronized in multiplayer or initialized correctly in general - Fixed an issue that caused prisoner NPCs to attack the player or another NPC even after being arrested
