The Mission Evolves: Demo & Beta Phase Conclusion
We are thrilled to announce that our demo and beta testing phase has officially come to a close!
Your feedback helped us more than you know. Every bug report, every suggestion, and every idea pushed us to make the game better. The community is the backbone of Possible One: Lunar Industries, and we want to extend a sincere thank you to our wishlist followers and beta participants for their support.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the progress we have made together from February 2nd through today.

New Features
Contracts & Missions
Contracts window is now fully interactive — click the Moon or Earth to zoom in, with a dedicated Zoom Out button
Selectable outlines now appear on Earth and Moon in the zoomed-out contracts view
Contract rewards now show meaningful descriptions instead of generic placeholder text
Contracts now properly refresh upon completion
Alerts System
New critical alert system with blinking visual indicators for urgent issues
Revamped alerts panel layout and icons for better readability
Astronaut & Crew Management
Main astronaut cap now shows three astronaut metrics at a glance: Current / Allowed / Habitat Cap
Astronaut roles are now visible in the shifts window and on shift icons
Clicking any astronaut portrait now locks the camera onto them
Central Hub tooltip now shows astronaut and sleeping pod information
Construction & Base Building
Corridors act as electric relays for any buildings placed next to them
Construction indicator moved to the top of the screen for better visibility
Electric relay border visuals now appear when placing any electricity-dependent building
"Ground unsuitable for construction" message now shown when building outside the constructable area
Toggling a building off now grays out its shifts, making inactivity visually clear
Main base - Zoom-Out
Region grid now fades in smoothly instead of popping in abruptly
Lunar South Pole name now appears when fully zoomed out
Rewards & Stats
"Accept" button added to all reward option windows, with refreshed button visuals
Demolishing a building now shows gained resources with proper spacing
Shipment & Delivery
Spaceship item scrolling is now ~5× faster (one item per mouse wheel click)
Shipment ETA tooltip now appears when hovering anywhere on the delivery box
"Send Scout" button now correctly switches to "Cancel Scout" while a scout is en route
Options & Settings
Resolution options now support 1920–2556 width and 1080–1440 height
Main menu now closes automatically after saving
Miscellaneous
Inter Light font integrated across the game for a cleaner look
Terrain effect indicators now use green/red for buff/debuff; "No Stats" renamed to "On Standard Terrain"
Lander Hub now has a basic interactive menu
Search cursor icon updated to match the in-game selection cursor
Negative resource indicators added to building requirement displays
Hover tooltips on all UI elements and resource icons are now instant — no more delay

Vehicles & Pathfinding
Fixed multiple forklifts attempting to build the same structure at the same time
Fixed construction vehicles getting permanently stuck when a destination was unreachable — they can now be demolished
Fixed dozers and scanners parked at the central hub being undemolishable
Electrical Grid & Power
Fixed cooling systems randomly disconnecting from the power grid despite being properly connected via corridors
Fixed demolishing a range extender in Star View causing the central hub to lose all power
Fixed electric relay buffs not re-applying when loading a saved game
Fixed electric relay not showing visual cable connections to nearby corridors
Fixed research lab not turning back on after being powered off
Fixed electric relay border being broken and inconsistent during construction

Fixed assigning a mechanic to a scout bay completing the survey but failing to grant the reward
Visual
Fixed road color changing from gray to black when zooming in/out
Fixed newly built habitats showing duplicate placeholder astronauts in all slots
Fixed the construction grid remaining visible after being toggled off
Fixed visual indicators floating above the ground — now properly flattened to surface level
Fixed inconsistent road construction indicators
Fixed rocks appearing too dark in the environment
Fixed a brief yellow flash when the map grid first loads

Tutorial Overhaul
Removed scanner and bridge from tutorial sequence to focus on core mechanics
Added dedicated Range Extender and Electric Relay segments with placement indicators, narrator dialogue, and guided prompts
Tutorial now locks constructables after their segment completes to prevent sequence-breaking
Placement only advances when items are placed in the correct area
Yellow border indicators added for Range Extender and Electric Relay placement
Missing voice-overs restored for "Clear the landing site of rocks" and "Order a delivery from Earth"
Upgraded internal tutorial state tracking for more reliable progression
Graphics
New road and foundation materials and textures
Updated ghost visuals for corridor and road placement
Cross bridge now uses its proper 3D prefab instead of a standard corridor visual
All visual indicators flattened to ground level — no more floating blue dots
Sound & Audio
Replaced most in game click and indication sounds
Engine sound added to the second lander
First landing sound effect restored
Dozer deployment sound no longer plays twice
Game Balancing
Full balancing pass completed across resources and production rates
Regolith quantity reduced by 80% for better early-game pacing
Building production displays corrected to show accurate daily output rates
"Waiting for resources" no longer treated as a critical alert
