New JLPT N4 Learning Content, Space Exploration & More!

A huge update has arrived with expanded Japanese N4 learning content, new space exploration features and more!

📘 JLPT Expansion: N4 100 Q&A

Added a full 100-question JLPT N4 quiz set!

• Improved visuals and clearer UI feedback

• Correct answers now show check marks

• Furigana added where needed

• In-depth explanations for better understanding

• Many example sentences included

More JLPT N4 content and other levels will continue to be added in future updates!

🌌 New Feature: Space Room & Exploration

The Space Room is now open with new interactivity and exploration:

• Buy your spaceship and spacesuit in the room shop

• Press “Enter” under your spaceship to board and exit

• Travel to 2 new planets with unique background music

• New NPCs added (No text showing, only listening at this point)

• Planets and space will continue to expand massively over time

This is just the beginning of a much larger space system with future updates planned:

• New planets, biomes, creatures, items, and themes

🎣 Fishing System Expansion

Fishing is now more than just fish-catching:

• New zone-based items added:

  • Herbs

  • Octopus

  • Squid

  • Seaweed

Improvements:

• Catch text is now larger and stays longer on screen

• Now only in Japanese with mini item images

• New fishing spots added

These items will be used in future crafting systems for cooking and recipes.

🎵 Audio & Atmosphere Improvements

• NEW Background music, rebalanced (less overpowering and more atmospheric)

• Some maps now use ambient sound instead of music

• Music better supports immersion and player focus

• Jukebox system will be improved in future updates

🛠️ Other Improvements

• Space Q&A points added to scorecard system (all space quizzes)

• Chair sizes adjusted for better visuals

• Improved intro audio timing (school bell with muted sound effects)

• Fire event (BBQ) unified to use consistent recipe display

This update focuses on expanding both learning content and immersive gameplay systems, bringing more depth to Japanese study through exploration, interaction, and progression. I feel that not everything needs to be tied to a JLPT level, it should also reflect the unique atmosphere and feel of each planet. More content, planets, quizzes, and systems are already in development!
