QoL Update v0.8.4 Is Now Live
We continue pushing forward with improvements that make the wasteland feel more alive, more dynamic, and more rewarding to explore.
This update brings a mix of new encounters, new power progression, and quality of life changes that improve everyday gameplay while opening new possibilities for how you survive and grow.
Highlights
Hobo Hauler
A Rusted Hauler Vehicle for Moving Early Wasteland Materials
You may now encounter something unexpected traveling across the wasteland.
The Hobo Hauler, an autonomous vehicle operated by a Bandit Chief, moves between settlements and junkyards carrying valuable cargo.
You have a choice when you find it.
You can approach and trade for basic materials or you can take the risk and try to take it down
If you decide to attack, be ready. The Bandit Chief will fight back, and once the vehicle is disabled, you will have a limited time to repair it before it explodes.
If you manage to secure it, the Hobo Hauler becomes yours.
Large cargo capacity of 200 kg and 200 L
Uses Bio Diesel with low consumption
Very slow speed, similar to running pace
Can be insured and added to your vehicle list
Can be upgraded for better speed or larger cargo space
This vehicle is especially useful in early stages of the game when moving heavy materials before building your own faster machines.
