Scheduled Public Server Restart This Thursday

We will perform a scheduled restart of all public servers this Thursday during the following window:

18:00 to 19:00 UTC

This restart is required to deploy the upcoming update and refresh the game worlds with a new world seed.

EU 20:00 to 21:00 CEST

US 14:00 to 15:00 EDT 11:00 to 12:00 PDT

Important World Refresh Notice

With this restart, all public servers will receive a world reset with a new world seed.

This means the game world itself will be refreshed so the update can be applied properly and everyone can continue on a clean updated map.

Player characters and their inventories will remain intact.

Vehicles will not be preserved during this world refresh because they are part of the world data.

If you want to bring your most valuable gear into the refreshed world, please place it into your character inventory before the restart. Items stored in bases, vehicles, containers, or other world objects will not carry over.

To make it clear:

  • Characters will remain

  • Character inventories will remain

  • Gear stored directly on your character will remain

  • Vehicles will not remain

  • Bases, buildings, containers, and world objects will be reset

  • A new world seed will be applied

This is not a full character wipe. It is a world refresh.

Server Naming and Refresh Policy Update

We are also renaming our current official servers to Public Community Servers.

These servers are provided and supported thanks to our amazing community supporters, so this name better reflects what they truly are. Public spaces where players can meet, play together, and enjoy Plains of Pain as a community.

The servers will remain public and available for everyone. Only the naming is changing to better represent the community driven support behind them.

We also want to be transparent about how these public servers will be maintained going forward. Public Community Servers will be refreshed regularly, usually around every 60 to 90 days, depending on server health, performance, technical needs, and future update requirements.

This helps keep the servers running smoothly, gives players fresh worlds to explore, and allows us to apply larger changes when needed without long term technical issues.

Thank you for your understanding and support.
