Ahoy!

In today’s devlog, we want to show you a bit of the world we’ve designed for the game—one that you’ll be able to explore with your crew and your ship. Keep in mind, though, that the places you visit might hide valuable treasures, but they also come with dangers. Sometimes, you’ll run into trouble, like the Trade Company trying to stop you.

In this post, we’ll give you a closer look at a few interesting locations you can visit on the map—and what you might expect to find there.

The Quiet Shores – Fishing Village

"Aye, the fish be fresh an’ the winds be calm... but don’t expect more than a dry biscuit and a silent stare." — Old Red Flit, sailor and lover of quiet ports

One of the locations you can visit is a peaceful fishing village. This small settlement offers basic supplies—most importantly, food, which becomes crucial for aiding the nearby burned city.

Nothing out of the ordinary happens here. It’s a quiet, safe place, perfect for resting and preparing for the journey ahead.

Ashes of Seashell Bay – Burned Harbor

"Used to be a fine port, it was... now is’s just smoke, screams, and beggin’ eyes. Best bring more than pity, mate." — First Mate Grigory, witness to the burning

Seashell Bay Harbor is a ruined city, recently devastated by an attack from the Trade Company. Its people are struggling to survive and have little to offer, except a desperate need for resources and support.

The Storm’s Refuge – Atoll Fort

"Ye don’t stroll into that atoll, lad – not unless ye fancy dancin’ cannonballs with Captain Storm hisself!" — Captain Rakes, survivor of the Outer Fort Clash

At the heart of a remote atoll lies a small settlement guarded by a powerful fort. It’s a Trade Company-controlled area located on the edge of their territory and home to the infamous Captain Otto, also known as “The Storm.”

Reaching this place is no easy task — you must first deal with the fort. A key moment involves ambushing a supply convoy to weaken its defenses.

The Totem Watchers – Seeker Research Camp

"They say they study totems... but I swear by me compass, those Seeker rats got darker plans than they let on." — Black-eye Jack, ex-cultist turned smuggler

On one of the islands, a camp of strangers studying a mysterious totem linked to the local tribes can be found. These outsiders call themselves the “Seekers of Order” and seem to be engaged in odd rituals and research.

Black Rocks Haven – Pirate Hideout

"Now this be a place fer real sailors—no law, no questions, just rum, powder, an’ coin changin’ hands." — Joe, quartermaster and fence

Hidden among sharp coastal rocks is a small pirate hideout. It's one of the few places where players can resupply deep within Trade Company territory.

This hideout serves as a launch point for raids against fishing villages and enemy camps. It’s also a black market hub where looted goods — especially from Seeker camps — can be sold. Despite its location in hostile lands, the hideout itself remains safe and free from immediate threats.

Flames of Disorder – Burning Seeker Camp

"I’ve sailed through ghost waters an’ stared down storms, but I swear on Blackbeard’s beard—I ain’t stayin’ the night in that camp." — Old Man Hank, last seen leavin’ without his boots

Hidden on the edge of archipelago island, Whispershade
