changedAhoy! In today's DevLog, we will provide you with information about crew management on the ship. This is one of the most important tasks for any captain, as well-given orders and well-planned actions not only allow for optimal preparation for each battle but also ensure the economy of our ship is well taken care of. Remember, what we’re showing is still a work in progress, so expect some elements of the interface to be further polished.
changedThis makes assigning sailors to the appropriate stations simpler and allows you to focus on preparing for battles. To make assignments easier, the system uses a drag-and-drop mechanic, allowing you to move sailors' portraits from the bottom panel to the slots in the cabins.

Ahoy!

Upon entering the side view of the ship, the player will be able to access the crew assignment view. At the bottom of the screen, a panel with thumbnails of available sailors will be displayed. This panel will show the sailor's name and basic attributes, such as strength, dexterity, and perception.

If we select a sailor, we will also see their full profile panel, including details like their experience level and how much more experience they need to reach the next level. Additionally, the selected sailor will be highlighted (making it easy to locate them on the ship), and their destination will be marked with a pulsating line.

Moreover, all built cabins in this view will display icons representing the possible interactions available in each cabin. For example, in the combat cabin, there are three positions for sailors: gunner, aimer, and loader.

This makes assigning sailors to the appropriate stations simpler and allows you to focus on preparing for battles. To make assignments easier, the system uses a drag-and-drop mechanic, allowing you to move sailors' portraits from the bottom panel to the slots in the cabins.

That’s all we wanted to show you today. Thank you for your continued support, and we’ll talk to you again soon!
