addedWhere Are We?At the moment, I’m currently working on adding discord rich presence to the game and updating the achievement system so Windows Defender doesn’t get mad at it anymore (+ other nice benefits) . This is all thanks to the advanced technologies Rezarg has been cooking up (he should honestly just be added to the dev team at this point lol) .

I’ll be honest, I’ve learned a ton since the Galacdrive era, and it would be fun to flex a bit of that gained experience to create new amped up versions of those tracks. You can let me know your thoughts as well as some of your favorite tracks that you think I should remix.

This time I’m considering a more intense/frantic album, maybe even utilizing some of the distorted vocals I’ve been playing around with recently. While I am still in the theorycrafting stage as of now, I look forward to sharing my progress with you all soon!
addedWrapping up..While I predict 1.3 will release sometime this week, I don't want to guarantee anything - things seem to derail so often and so quickly that I think it's just best that new features are announced when they should be, lol. In addition, some drafting for the layout of the level editor has been made, and we're messing around with it behind closed doors. More info will be revealed later :).

So.. about there not being a devlog last week. Long story short, life has been getting in the way lately. It’s nothing dire, and progress on the game is moving, BUT a lot of things that I was supposed to get done during my semester got pushed into now by the semester itself, since it was so busy. The result is that the start of summer has been messy!! However, things have been stabilizing again, and productivity will ramp back up this week!

Where Are We?

At the moment, I’m currently working on adding discord rich presence to the game and updating the achievement system so Windows Defender doesn’t get mad at it anymore (+ other nice benefits). This is all thanks to the advanced technologies Rezarg has been cooking up (he should honestly just be added to the dev team at this point lol).

However, for this devlog, I’ll be handing off the mic to the three music artists who work on the game, so they can discuss their plans for the music in 2.0! None of them have actually written in the devlogs before and It’s starting to feel too weird that I keep writing ā€œweā€ when I’m the only person who ever writes these, lol. I’ll be passing the mic over to boxlion now so she can discuss her plans :).

Heyo! :3 I’m thatboxlion, and I’m the composer for the Sweets album! I'm honored to compose another album for 2.0, and I've got a couple of ideas that I’m excited to start brainstorming with >:]. I’m planning on making 4 to 5 songs, and I’m hoping to make them even better than the Sweets album was!

Logan's Portion

Hi all!

This is Logan. It’s weird that this is my first time writing to you all in a devlog. As of a few days ago, the semester has come to an end, and I’m ready to come back to this game. I’m excited to share a few plans I have for the 2.0 update. These concepts are still a little early and they are subject to change. That means that feedback from you would be very helpful!

Firstly, I would like to share a bit of a personal project that I’ve been working on for a while. I’m working on an album! I had to put a pause on it due to school, but now that the semester’s over, I’m excited to get to work on it again. I don’t have any more to share about it at this time, but select tracks from it will be included in the 2.0 update.

Another thing that could be coming to the update is a collection of remixes of tracks from Galacdrive. I’ll be honest, I’ve learned a ton since the Galacdrive era, and it would be fun to flex a bit of that gained experience to create new amped up versions of those tracks. You can let me know your thoughts as well as some of your favorite tracks that you think I should remix.

With school wrapping up, I’m turning more to this project to put my energy into. I’m looking forward to engaging more with this amazing community. I’m taking inspiration from Jackson, who does so much for this community. I have no idea how he gets one of these out every week. Thanks for sticking with us!
