Repeated intro
Hey hey! Despite taking a little longer than expected (this will be talked about in a later devlog), the 1.3 update is now ready for open beta testing. This update's primary features are achievement and controller support, but there are a bunch of smaller features as well. Let's talk about it!

What's included in the update
Major features:
Achievements: There are 31 achievements to unlock in the game ranging from simply beating certain levels to other milestones and some funny ones!
Full controller & Steam Deck support: The game can be entirely played with a controller or Steam Deck! The joystick (s) is used to move the parser for controllers, and you have the option to still use the touchpad on the deck.
Pausing during gameplay: You can modify pretty much all game settings without having to go back to the main menu!
Minor features:
- Level score listThere's a new folder in the galaxy map that has info about all of the levels you've played in a clear, concise list. This folder will also be used for much more in 2.0.
Parser smoothing toggle: This on-by-default option uses some funky math to make the parser wobble far less when strafing, which should make gameplay look smoother!
Parser inversion option: You can now make your parser's white color black instead for aesthetics or just visibility!
Level nerfs: Dubious_Dessert, Zenius and Sigma have all been nerfed to hopefully flatten the difficulty curve a bit.
How to participate & more details
To participate, all you need to do is right click the game in your Steam library, then go to Properties... -> Betas and select the open testing branch!
If you find anything that seems off, please report it in the Discord! This is the best way to report on things and is going to be our primary outlet for beta feedback. Even if you don't find any bugs, any thoughts at all on the update are encouraged! If you don't use or prefer Discord, you can also just e-mail us as well.
This open beta is set to last about a week. 1.3 will likely launch on the start of the weekend!
Thanks to everyone who tests the open beta, even if you just want to nab the achievements early. See you in the full launch announcement! :)
