Hi there!

Today we want to share one of the mechanics of our game with you: hunting.

In Paleolith, animals don't wait to be found. The deer hears footsteps, catches your scent, and flees long before you even see it.

To succeed in a hunt, you need to:

— move against the wind,

— stay quiet and avoid sudden movements

— a twig underfoot or any sharp move will give you away,

— stalk, don't run.

Hunting here is about paying attention to the world around you. The wind, the ground under your feet, the way the animal moves — all of it matters.

What hunting mechanics would you like to see added to the game, and how do you feel about the ones already there?
