In Paleolith, sleep isn’t just a menu option — it’s a real, animated action. We’ve been working on a basic version of the sleep mechanic, and here’s how it works right now:

  • The character lies down with a full-body animation

  • Time speeds up — fatigue, thirst, hunger, and health change dynamically

  • When thirst reaches a critical level, the character wakes up automatically

This is just one part of a larger system where your needs shape how long you can rest and what happens while you sleep. In future versions, shelter warmth, weather, and dreams will all affect sleep.
