This is a teeny update with a few changes and bugfixes following release day.

Changes

  • Beta (the Ingress program that comes from Alpha) now grants +2 damage instead of x2 damage

  • Gamma (the Ingress program that comes from Beta) now grants +3 damage instead of x3 damage (it still splits the packet 3-ways)

  • The fourth program option in the level-up menu (the one that always has a different faction's program) will always be common if the random faction is not yet unlocked

  • Reduced the difficulty of the first server, mostly by removing some of the excessive walls near the start of the level (servers two and three remain as difficult as ever)

  • The tutorial now stresses the importance of pausing

  • The tutorial now teaches how to overwrite programs (you can do that, for those that didn't know)

  • Other incremental improvements to the tutorial

  • Updated credits with fuller font

Bugfixes

  • Fixed cognition not actually granting experience (previously, it would appear to grant experience, but it was never added to the experience bar)

  • Fixed some programs playing the wrong sound effect when deployed

  • Fixed a bug where the fourth program option in the level-up menu would always be rare or legendary (we all thought we were lucky, but 'twas not so)
