Urgent Performance Optimizations—All Aboard for Train Fest!

Train Fest is just around the corner! 🚂✨

To help more players board OxyRail smoothly, we have made urgent performance adaptations and optimizations for PCs with different hardware configurations.

This update mainly focuses on:

💻 Support for different graphics card configurations 🧠 Reduced VRAM usage ⚙️ Faster game loading 🚂 Improved runtime stability

⚙️ Performance and Stability Improvements

💾 Save Screen Improvements

Fixed:

• Fixed an issue where the overlay panel could close unexpectedly while saving

This makes the saving process more stable.

🖥️ Smart VRAM Optimization System

New:

The game now automatically adjusts how textures are handled based on the amount of VRAM available on the player's PC.

Optimized:

• Resource loading now adapts automatically to different VRAM capacities

• Reduced pressure on VRAM

• Reduced crashes caused by VRAM overflow

• Reduced stuttering caused by insufficient VRAM in some situations

This provides a more stable experience across a wider range of PC configurations.

✨ New: Super Resolution Option

New:

A “Super Resolution” option has been added to the game settings.

Adjusted:

• Super Resolution is disabled by default

• When disabled, rendering remains at 1× even if the render scale is set above 1×

• Render scale settings above 1× take effect only after Super Resolution is enabled

This prevents excessive render scales from putting too much strain on lower-spec devices.

Players can freely adjust the visual quality to suit their device's performance.

🚂 Optimized Game Startup Loading

Optimized:

• The game's main screen now uses only the 1× VRAM asset set during loading by default

• After entering the game, the appropriate configuration is loaded based on the player's settings

Improved:

• Faster initial loading

• Reduced VRAM pressure during startup

• Reduced startup stuttering on some devices
