Open The Gate: Just A Little changes
This is my first devlog ever so I'm a little nervous, I hope at least 1 person reads this!
The original idea behind Open the Gate was a very simple game about tower defense:
Units are automatically spawned on a bridge to fight each other.
The player can collect gold, pick upgrades and...just watch the fight.
However when I sent it to internal playtesters, people did not feel the idea of an idler fit well with tower defense! Therefore I missed the opportunity to publish the demo during the Christmas and...maybe New Year in order to overhaul the game.
Player can now proactively buy units and command them where to defense
So in a big fight the archers should stay behind a line of tankiness instead of blindly stepping forward into their graves!
After a game, players will earn a good amount of XP to unlock new units or get new titles for unlocked units. I'm still considering a small upgrade system to make the overall units walk faster, fight harder.

After that and some small amount of playtests I would say the demo is coming very soon so stay tuned!
