Intro
With this update, and most likely the next one as well, everything focuses on optimizing the game flow and eliminating every rough edge that could become annoying. In this context, I would like to thank all testers who notified me whenever they started streaming. Alongside your constructive feedback, this allowed me to follow your gameplay and clearly see exactly where improvements were needed.
Improvements
Sellers now tailor their product selection to the current season. For example, Berry now only offers seeds that are suitable for the active season.
Weekly random quests now also take the currently active season into account. For example, Berry only asks for items that are relevant to the currently active season.
Berry now consistently includes all season-appropriate seeds in her weekly selection.
The position of most UI windows is now saved and loaded.
A button has been added to the settings menu to reset the position of all UI windows. In case you accidentally moved them off-screen.
The maximum durability value is now also displayed in the tooltip for weapons.
The spawning of annoying flies on your own plot of land has been deactivated until further notice.
Regular zombie spawns at night will now only occur on your own land during the evening hours until further notice. No zombies will spawn on your land at night. Invasions are excluded from this.
The leatherworker and the seamstress now also offer bags on market day.
Watering can level 2 and the corresponding recipe should now always be available from Nick the general store.
Shop windows can now always be opened through a merchant NPC’s dialogue. This works regardless of whether the shop is within or outside its opening hours.
In dialogues, quests and time-based quests now also have an icon to make them easier to identify. This comes in addition to their specific color highlighting.
The character's autonomous waving animation has been disabled until further notice.
The number of items you want to craft, which you manually enter in the crafting window, now corrects itself intelligently.
The inventory sorting functions now also sort alphabetically within the sorting categories.
The woodworker now always offers the recipe for the wooden sword.
Added a new recipe that allows to craft 10 wooden arrows at once. Available from the Hunter.
The recipes for stone and iron arrows have been updated. Both now craft 10 arrows at a time.
The wolf, which had been inactive for months, has now been permanently removed from the Meadows region.
Charlie the innkeeper now offers a recipe for cooked meat right from the start. To make it easier to get started with cooking.
Global price calculation updated.
Many other improvements.
Fixes
The loading screen should now fully cover the screen again, even at different resolutions.
Starting a dialogue while moving now correctly stops the character.
Birds should no longer get stuck in an animation every now and then.
The witch's cat should no longer be wandering around confused.
Jeremy the animal dealer’s shop now works as expected again on market day.
A bug was fixed that caused fishing chances to be calculated incorrectly.
The mysterious underwater stone no longer becomes invisible at will.
Many other minor fixes.
