In the meantime, here’s what’s new:

New Story Points

The story at the beginning of the game has been rewritten, as well as several dialogues to maintain consistency.

A new motive has been added for climbing the mountain: to collect the selenite shards and help the moon defeat the serpent.

New Start Screen

When creating a new game, or starting the game for the very first time, a new start screen will appear.

Run End Indicators

Now, each time a run ends, a message will appear showing the reason for it. The reasons a run can end are the following:

  • Running out of health

  • Running out of health due to starvation damage

  • The night ends

  • Completing the Dungeon

Status Indicators

A new status indicator has been added, alongside the health and appetite indicators.

  • Health – Poisoned

  • Appetite – Starving or Hungry

Various Fixes

  • Corrected spelling mistakes in several localized texts.

  • Changed the hunger indicator to appetite. Now, instead of decreasing, the bar increases.

  • Adjusted the wording of stats descriptions to make them clearer.

  • Added a new font for reading texts to improve legibility.

  • Added new rules for Moon Dashers generation to avoid impossible dashes.

  • Changed how Moon Whispers are displayed.

  • Fixed an issue where berries could be seen inside bushes or burrows but were not interactable.

  • Modified the obtainable items during the tutorial and expanded the text areas.

  • Added a Moon Whisper that triggers when the night is about to end.

  • Fixed an issue when initializing the Steam connection that prevented achievements from appearing. Achievements can now be unlocked in the final version.

  • Added a visual indicator when performing an invalid action.
