Omen changes
I lied about the last update being the only update to the demo this month.
New Features
Difficulty following the Border tutorial has been reduced. I want the game to be challenging but many of the regions had POIs that were not setup incorrectly and reading old data. So now they're using the correct balancing data!
The backgrounds for every region have been replaced and improved.
VFX for explosions has been improved, more explosions, better explosions, more juice.
The way we handle screenshake has been improved visually and we're now introducing more screenshake in general to give weapons more of a punch.
The ship now goes way faster while jumping.
The region select screen now shows what blueprints are in each which region.
Fixes
Fixed an issue on some machines with window mode (note that if you're planning on continuing a game, your settings will have been reset because of this (sorry)).
The opening cutscene has been slowed down so people have more time to read the text. I'm probably going to end up doing a new format for cutscenes that allows the player to control the text, we also can't support localization with the current cutscene format.
Fixed an issue with ultrawide monitors hiding the health and power item counts inside the player base.
