addedIt's Mr. Thee with another lil demo build stability update. We were originally gonna try to have a new game mode ready by today, but due to a number of factors including making sure that our release roadmap and sleep schedule don't get completely hammered by showcase demos and other miscellaneous context-switching, we opted to just prioritize getting a stabilized build out by the time of the event. A healthier build today means a sicker game tomorrow, if that makes sense, because it's a skateboarding game, and sick is good(???).
fixedSometimes the vert air camera would freak out on certain quarterpipes, especally the really tall ones. We fixed a bunch of our parametric math so now this should be less of an issue.
addedWe added little boats to the River Bank Stage. They don't have physical collision, BUT you can do lip tricks off of them if you aim ur trajectory just right!
changedCamera orbit distance and vertical offset distances to the player has been increased slightly. This is a very fancy way of saying we moved the camera back juuuuust a little bit.
fixedbails coming down from quarter pipes had incorrect velocity while the character rolled. This was actually caused by some quirks in how our character controller API disambiguates certain surfaces, so that has been refactored and fixed to a much saner and usable state.
fixedThe song "Sombra" by Tony Astro wasn't actually linking to the new song he had made, so that has been fixed and is now actually properly included in the build this time!

steering and has been polished on steep slopes.

And that's about everything for now! Not a ton of new stuff, but I will mention that about half of our recent commits have been prepping this game for greater variety in play modes going forward. And some of those modes will eventually see the light of day in the free demo.
