Off World Racing changes
Off World Racing V0.82 is live!
Gameplay & Camera Update – Fewer Bugs, More Cinema 🚀
This update is all about making Off World Racing feel smoother, more cinematic, and slightly less likely to fight you mid-race. Cameras behave better, vehicles behave faster, and the quad bike has finally remembered how wheels work.
What’s new (and less broken):
🌪️ Environmental Chaos Expanded
Geysers now have an extended range… and yes, there might be accidents until we get feedback . We deny everything.
🚗 Vehicles: Faster, Sharper, Riskier
All vehicles have been improved and slightly sped up.
Speed at your own risk — gravity still exists, just not consistently. and varies on each world!
🛞 Quad Bike Fixed
Wheel issues resolved. The off-world quad now works as originally intended.
🤖 AI Tweaks
More improvements to AI behaviour for smoother, less questionable racing lines, as well as some bike accidents!
📸 Camera Improvements (Big One)
More camera collision fixes to stop unwanted cinematic experiments.
Chase camera now works as it should — following you, not the ground, the sky, or another dimension, even if you go there!
💥 Damage Rebalancing
Damage has been rebalanced across all vehicles.
Simulation Mode remains unforgiving. You’ve been warned.
🪐 Track & Visual Polish
Improved visuals across Mars tracks
Obstacle and signage updates for better readability at speed
This update is all about flow: smoother races, better camera behaviour, and vehicles that feel faster and more alive. More improvements are already in motion — thanks for racing with us and for all the feedback!
