ODYSSEY: Starship Pinball changes
Hi Wilburites, happy Wilbur wednesday! We've got a ton of new fixes in this week, as well as a new feature update that should make discovering new biomes -- like Clouds -- easier! This week, we're taking off from the YouTube livestreams, but you can always catch the previous weeks'replays in this playlist! Updated parameters for unlocking biomes; Cloud biome is now much more likely after the first gate
Fixed bug where ball can get trapped behind flipper when exiting rail in Cloud biome
Improved visibility and lighting balance in Space and Cloud biomes
Fixed bug where space and cloud backgrounds can sometimes lose resolution
Dropped Key can now be Interacted with by flipper
Increased dropped Key reset countdown to 15 seconds
Locked the Key's rotation so it always faces the camera
Updated game over screen to use buttons for "Play Again" and "Quit" instead of key bindings
Added an auto-cancel countdown when remapping controls to prevent getting stuck in the menu
Fixed lives counter not handling overflow
Updates to level design for better gameplay
Updates to idle mode performance, ensuring consistent gameplay regardless of frame rate
Fixed bug where drain VFX can sometimes lose resolution
Small performance improvement on HUD
Added game version number to pause menu
Backend work on mobile (coming this Spring)
Added invert bump functionality for both click bump and gamepad bump
Changes to materials, lighting, post processing effects to improve visibility and rendering
First pass for flipper button graphics
Support multi-touch so the flipper can be activated at the same time as bumping
