Steam post image Object Factory v2.0 – Now Live! 🚀
The new update is here! Version 2.0 is now available with lots of new systems and minor bugs but cant wait to show you the new factory mode.
This update adds more depth to factory-building while keeping the core simplicity you already know.
What’s new in v2.0:
More Goals Clearer progression and more meaningful objectives.
Improved Shape Recognition Enables more complex and interesting production challenges.
Throughput System (NEW) Efficiency matters more than ever: – Maintain high output to gain multipliers (e.g. 1.25x / 1.5x) – Some objectives now require a minimum throughput per minute
→ Rewards optimized layouts and stable production lines.
District System (NEW CORE FEATURE) Build specialized production zones with powerful bonuses: – Cutter districts for efficient slicing pipelines – Painter districts for optimized dye production – Dedicated processing hubs
→ Instead of one generic factory, create connected, optimized systems.
New Machines – Type Sorters for precise routing – Feedback Balancers for loop-based systems
→ Enables self-regulating factories and advanced setups.
- New ModeFactory Mode The current experience becomes Arcade Mode. The new Factory Mode introduces structured progression.
There might be the chance to discover minor bugs but all stages can be completed and progressed to creativity mode. if you encounter a bug there is now the bug report button in the game.
